Dyspnea, cough: Osteosarcoma is rare cancer of the bone. When it metastasizes, one of the first places it may show up is in the lungs. If these metastatic lesions are numerous or obstruct the airways, they can cause shortness of breath, cough and possibly bleeding. Weight loss is another common symptom in those with progressive cancer.
