Please get seen!: What you are describing my be as simple as a small skin infection, or as harsh as a recurrence of the cancer. Please get seen by an orthopedist who specializes in oncology soon.

See doctor: Infection at the stump site by itself is enough to cause pain. That should be evaluated and treated by your physician/surgeon. That said, there are other complications after amputation that can result in pain returning after a long period pain-free such as neuromas. These can be treated with the help of your doctor.
