Maybe: Restasis hasbeen shown to improve tear film but can take weeks or months to work. Punctal plugs often work quicker and are more effective in this scenario.

Not from CLs: Contacts don't cause dry eyes, however, they will be uncomfortable if the eye is dry. If you have a decrease in the aqueous portion of you tear film Restasis should help. There are other causes of dry eye disease and you should have your eyes examined to determine the type you have to obtain the correct treatment.
