A member asked:

What is the soft tissue mass called in osteosarcoma?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Rare bone cancer: Osteosarcoma is usually a tumor or cancer of the bone, as opposed to most other sarcomas which are "soft tissue" sarcomas. Sometimes osteosarcomas can be associated with a soft tissue component, but they are generally primary cancers of the bone (not "soft tissue").
