Rare bone cancer: Osteosarcoma is usually a tumor or cancer of the bone, as opposed to most other sarcomas which are "soft tissue" sarcomas. Sometimes osteosarcomas can be associated with a soft tissue component, but they are generally primary cancers of the bone (not "soft tissue").
