Gout: It is very typical for gout attacks to be episodic. What we do find if the uric acid levels are not controlled is the attacks coming more and more frequently over time.

Once you get attacks: It is important to be under the care of a doctor. It is not only the localized flare ups you have to worry about, there is potential damage to kidneys and heart. Make sure a doctor is monitoring you.
