Need chest xray: They could be several reason for pain in the rib, from trauma, metabolic, tumor, inflamatory, infectious, perhaps intraabominal or intrathoraxic pathology.Need a lot more detatails about this pain characteristics.Recomended to seeyour fp and chest x-ray.May need more diagnostic testing such as ct scan and or bone scan.
