Time for a recheck?: Don't know how long ago you saw your doctor, but things may change over "months." your doctor may respond very differently to symptoms lasting a long time then to a common symptom expected to resolve quickly. Please get your son rechecked since "months" of a cough needs to be taken more seriously than just a few days.
