Grieving, usually: Grief after a spouse's death is an individual process, but generally includes feelings of sadness and loss. There may be crying, and physical sensations of tension or pain. Some people continue to feel the presence of the dead spouse, and may have visions of him or her. Energy and sleep may be poor. Although some symptoms may seem to overlap w/depression, there are usually no suicidal thoughts.
