Individual: While breast cancer is a scary illness for most people (men can get it too), each person experiences it individually. Having it extend to other parts of the body can make this much more frightening. Some people become depressed, anxious, and have difficulty sleeping. There may be need to resolve old emotional issues. Symptoms can also vary depending on where the mets are, such as in brain.
