A member asked:

Is it normal for my knee to be tingling after an mcl tear reconstruction?

Yes: There are a number of sensory nerves around that area and it's not unusual for some of them to be irritated by the surgical process causing numbness or tingling.

it can be: It depends on what was done and how long you are following surgery. If you are in first few weeks following surgery it could related to a number of things, all likely to resolve with time and healing. If it is late, it could represent sensory nerve entrapment and might need to be evaluated.
