? injury related: Sometimes what appears to be bruises/ lumps under the skin of the legs are actually varicose veins. If it appears that you are bruising more easily than you feel you should then a more serious issue may need to be considered. Please see your primary care physician to have them take a look.

See physician: If the lesions are on both legs , i would consult a physician you may have erythema nodosom which can be caused bymany things.
