Hello, i noticed i small bruise on the back of my leg that is kind of sore and is a yellowish color. i forgot how i hit it. i noticed a small somewhat firm lump under the skin. i was just seeing if thats normal. i get anxious easy. thanks?

This is evidence of traumatic bleeding and the lump under the bruise is a blood clot ( hematoma). The yellowish hue means breakdown of blood products and the bruise.is days old. This type of clot isn't dangerous as it doesn't travel. Applying heat for 20 minutes every few hours may hasten the dissolving of the clot. Occasionally the clots turn very hard& are tender and require removal by a surgeon
