See a specialist: Either a podiatrist or orthopedist. Have a complete evaluation of your foot and ankle as well as a gait exam. When you go, bring the shoes that you have been training in to be checked as well. Prevention of injury can include a combination of things - stretching, massage, physical therapy, bracing and/or shoe selection.
