Very different: Blood clots when you are cut or injured and bruising is a feature of that. Abnormal intravascular clotting is a serious problem, in veins or arteries with different diagnosis and treatments. Aneurysms in general are of arteries with enlargement to significant size- usually twice the normal vessel size.
