A member asked:

Is there a way to fix a lazy eye (amblyopia) in adults ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

NO: Not that we know of. If younger than 9 years of age, patching of the other eye may help, as well as glasses. In an adult there has been no sucessful treatment. Studies have shown that if you loose the good (non-amblyopic eye), the lazy eye will slowly improve (very slowly). When it is forced to function without help from the other eye.
