i'm 19 weeks pregnant & everytime i lay down & look at my belly, my belly looks like it has a pulse. it jumps up and down like a heartbeat. i know it's not the baby's, so what is it? thanks.

Your pulse: The uterus lays against the large artery from your heart, the aorta. This pulsates and is what you are observing. It is normal but please point it out to your OB doctor just to make sure it is not something concerning.
