Pediatrician to see: A pediatrician can evaluate why an 11 month old would keep vomiting over time. If the illness is short-lived, it can be any type of infection or other disorder. If vomiting persists, the doctor may refer to other pediatric specialists to check for more unsual causes such as neurological problems, medicine effects, chemical effects, intermittent blockage of the intestine, etc...

Go back to ER: If your baby won't hold down any fluids and is continuously vomiting, you should take him/her back to the er. Your baby may need to be treated with IV fluids if they are getting dehydrated. Try giving very small amounts of fluid (an oral rehydration fluid is best) every 15 - 20 minutes. By very small i mean a few sips only. If they can keep that down, you may be able to avoid the er.
