A member asked:

Why do some women bleed through out pregnancy? how common is it to bleed during whole pregnancy?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not common.: It is not common to bleed throughout the entire pregnancy. This can be from chronic infection of the cervix, placenta previa, placental abruption, or even just normal pregnancy. Any patient with this symptom needs a complete workup.
