Probably unrelated: Many of the epilepsies resolve over time. Some may be gradually improving and then disappear in association with some new process that the body must fight off. You may have had a bout of shingles or a sudden ruptured disc that caused severe reaction of your body. This may have helped to suppress the risk for seizures.
