Soak & seal: Do not bathe with harsh soaps. Tepid water on the skin soaks into the layers and then seal with a moisturizer like cetaphil/cerave. Occasional otc 1% Hydrocortisone can be used sparingly to affected areas with your doctor's advise/guidance. Always apply the 1% Hydrocortisone to soak and sealed skin.
