Dark spots: The most common dark spots on dorsal hands are seborrheic keratosis and lentigines. Seborrheic keratosis can itch. Dark spots on the palms can be erythema multiforme or syphilis or benign nevi. There are many other reasons for itchy dark spots, including contact dermatitis or hand eczema. Melanoma is unlikely if multiple dark spots all look the same, without an "ugly duckling.".
