Hormonal: Sounds like a hormonal glitch but also consider pregnancy if that's a possibility. Get checked by a gyn if it doesn't straighten out this cycle.

Must R/O preg: Could be due to hormones not being regulated , so she needs blood work and a good idea to do an ultrasound to check inside and outside the uterus.
