Every 3 years: Egd is recommended every 3 years for non-dysplastic barrett's. Ent doctors are not formally trained in performing upper endoscopies.

GI follow up: Only a gastroenterologist can check for barrett's esophagus.You should see the specialist at least annually, but initially s/he may want 6 month intervals to ensure no progression of the pre-cancerous condition.

Surveillance : Current guidelines recommend an upper endoscopy every 3 to 5 years. Ent typically perform lyrngoscopy rather than esophagoscopy.
