Yes: Celiac sprue (celiac disease) can have symptoms outside of the intestines. Patients can have an itchy rash called dermatitis herpetiformis, iron deficiency anemia, weight loss (failure to grow normally, if a child), abnormal liver enzyme tests, low vitamin d level, etc...

Absolutely: Immune complex deposition in joints can cause joint pain. Headaches, mood changes, fatigue, etc are possible. Deficiencies from malabsorption can also happen, esp b12, iron, d, zinc, magnesium.
