See PCP: If symptoms persist despite the antibiotic & mucolytic, cough may come from other causes. Do you take an ace inhibitor (prinivil, etc) for blood pressure? Do have frequent heartburn/acid reflux? Doc can examine you, may get chest x-ray, & prescribe according to findings. Good luck.
