Someone to talk to?: I can appreciate that you need someone to talk to about your depression, but i don't know who you're trying to get help from. Family and friends can be sympathetic, but cannot treat you for your depression. For this you need a trained psychiatrist, psychotherapist, or both. These professionals are experienced with depression and are best able to help you. Your pcp can get you started.
