What can i expect when go see non-surgical orthopedics for my 16 month old who isn't walking yet?

Unclear what to gain: My guess would be an evaluation of babies hips as hip dysplasia could delay walking.I could assess that in the office & with an exam & x-rays. If these are normal i would be sending you for a motor skills evaluation by a physical therapist/developmental specialist.

Multiple: The orthopedist will address any potential structural issues (clubfoot, knees not straightening, hip problems) if his exam is negative and workup is unrevealing he will probably consult neurology.
