Probably: Given some post-op swelling and pain, it is not out of the ordinary for him to experience difficulty walking. Slow but steady, the swelling and pain will go down. Feel better.

Normal: At his age will likely walk like a cowboy for about 10 days. Will walk normally again after scrotal swelling has subsided.
