A member asked:

Is there a type of sunglasses that help protect people with myopia?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not specifically: Generally though, good sunglasses block ultraviolet light (a and b) and to some extent the blue spectrum of visible light. These higher energy/higher frequency wavelengths tend to do more damage to the macula (central retina).
