Location and symptom: Depends on how the discomfort presents....Location, frequency, intensity, type of discomfort, etc. Also are their any concurrent presentations....Bad taste in mouth, dry mouth, etc. Need more info!

Different problems: Hard to say here. Best person to sort it out would be an oral suirgeon or ENT doc.
