Yes: If you feel fatigued check with your doctor to get screened for blood loss anemia. If that is occurring you may need birth control pills to lighten your periods. They also make bcp with iron. Iuds can cause heavier periods. If you have one use another form of birth control when you get it removed. Weight loss can occasionally help with having lighter periods if you are overweight.

If this happens often or the bleeding continues you will need to see your doctor to discuss menstrual cycle control and regulation. Various birth control methods can help. Lysteda is a hormone free pill to minimize menstrual bleeding. Depending on fertility plans you may be a candidate for an endometrial ablation.

It can be: Clots can happen due to pooling of old blood in the vaginal vault. That can happen and not cause pain.

Not normal: Many causes please see your gyn for a work up which would include an exam, pap if u haven't had one in a yr, blood hormone tests, and a pelvic us.
