Yes, except...: Listerine total care is an anti-cavity rinse with fluoride, as opposed to all the "flavors" that use essential oils to help fight gingivitis. Regular and the assorted flavors of listerine do not fight cavities, rather it works to help decrease plaque and kill the bacteria that cause gingivitis. The flavor does not change the antiseptic properties.

No.: Some listerine flavors are used in their mouthwashes that kill bacteria. Other flavors have Fluoride and are meant to harden teeth against cavities. Each bottle will say what its purpose is.
