Autoimmune diseases: Both myasthenia gravis and hashimoto's thyroiditis are autoimmune diseases, and they often occur together. Your doctor should check out your thyroid tests (tsh, ft4) and treat with levothyroxine if you are hypothyroid. Other autoimmune diseases are more common also. These include adrenal failure (addison's), premature ovarian failure, and others.
