I've been tested for neuropathy i have type 2 diabetes but i also have herniated disks in my back how do i know the symptoms of what's causing this?

Symptoms?: If nerves are compressed by disks they typically cause pain shooting from the back down the leg. Neuropathy typically causes tingling in the feet.

1-side= back issue: 1-side= back issue, usually; rarely diabetes related. If both lower extremeties affected, more likely diabetes related. An EMG by back md or neurologist can tell the difference accurately.
