OK if soft: One half of a soft lens will at worst be annoying but should do not harm. A hard lens should be removed - with help if you cannot get it out. A trick for the soft ones, hold your upper lid at the outside pulling towards your ear and then look towards your nose with that eye. Hold it for 10 seconds and very frequently the lens or lens fragment will migrate to the front where you can get to it.
