HTO-Tibial osteotomy: Bow legs are a normal variant. If after injury or chronic pain persists about the inside of the knees, proximal tibial osteotomies (hto- high tibial osteotomy) may be indicated. The plumb line from hip to ankle center is, thereby, redirected to go through née center and off-loads painful medial compartment. (see picture below).
