Need evaluation: You need to see an otolaryngologist to fully evaluate your condition. She or he can visualize your vocal cords to see what is going on and make the appropriate recommendations. I hope it gets better!

Need evaluation: If you have lost or had a raspy voice for more than two weeks then you should see an ENT and have a laryngoscopy. There are so many different causes of this, that only looking at the vocal cords directly and getting a good history of your complaints will help decide what needs to be done.

Speech therapy : As long as your vocal cords are normal, the best thing to adjust your voice is working with a speech therapist. If you haven't had an evaluation with an ENT doctor you should do that first.
