Corns are shaved off: Warts are usually frozen off, but corns and calluses are shaved off with a sharp scalpel blade.

Warts can be frozen.: Freezing--or cryotherapy--can be an effective wart treatment, as can certain chemicals or burning with electrocautery. Calluses, unfortunately, occur because of pressure or friction, and if your foot type causes pressure in a certain area when you walk, no amount of freezing will make that callus go away.

Warts: Corns are not frozen off as they do not respond to that therapy. Warts can be frozen because they are caused by a virus and they do respond to that form of treatment. See your podiatrist for assistance.
