Many things: ...Can cause atypical glandular cells on a pap smear, several relating to age fertility, menstrual cycle, etc. This is the us in the agus (undetermined significance). The pap smear is simply a screen, and this finding will lead to more definitive testing (either re-screen or colposcopy with biopsy).

Cervical dysplasia: Agus - atypical glandular cells are caused by many things from the cervix, endometrium, or fallopian tubes. Infection should not cause agus/agc.
