Lockjaw can be a...: Term for stiffness related to TMJ disease or can refer to tetanus, hopefully you mean the former one. If you had trauma to the area, an x-ray is needed to see if there is a fracture present. Go hawks.

Similar symptoms: The jaw can be locked open or closed due to a jaw joint (TMJ) problem. Your bite can also be off from a broken jaw. You would need a trauma to get a broken jaw, you can get the locked jaw from trauma or non-trauma. I would see an oral surgeon for diagnosis. Treatment can then be rendered.
