Wisdom teeth: Anesthetic used takes longer to wear off, so u might be sedated longer.

Helping hands: After your wisdom teeth are removed, you may not feel like doing much that day, and if you have them out with I.V. Sedation it will take some time for these medications to wear off. It is nice to have someone around to help you... Drive you home, bring food or water while you rest, help you remember which pain medication to take and when, and anything else that comes up.
