Reconstruction: Depends on complication. If you are under age of 55 and you developed deformity or the fracture did not heal it is not unreasonable to reposition the proximal femur and the fracture orientation through a surgery called an osteotomy. In other cases a hip replacement is a possibility. In the younger population an effort to preserve the hip should be made.
