Gum disease, dry mou: Causes could be periodontal or gum disease . A dental cleaning will help this. Meticulous oral hygiene - good brushing and flossing and using a tongue cleaner daily will help. Certain medications or dry mouth can also cause a problem. Drinking a lot of water or chewing sugarless gum will help stimulate saliva production. Certain mouthwashes will help too. Gi problems can be a problem too.

So many causes: Cavites, periodontal disease, diet, acid reflux, infections are some of the many contributors to halitosis. You need to rule out any of these factors, and to do so will help solve your problem. Consult with your physician and your dentist.
