A member asked:

Why am i suddenly afraid of drowning?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Fears: Some fears appear for no particular reason and we can begin to obsess about them. Drowning may be a symbol for you or perhaps you saw or read something that put this in your thoughts. Since drowning is unusual and can only happen if you go in water, you can overcome your fears by choosing to not be afraid.
