How can i prevent a pseudogout attack?

Pseudogout, like…: Gout is crystal deposition disease, usually in knee. Preventive rx is Colchicine (has many side effects that need to be discussed with fp/rheumatologist). Disease can be associated with hemochromatosis, hyperpara-thyroidism, hypophosphatasia, hypomag-nesemia, gitelman's syndrome; so managing these conditions may help prevent pseudogout attacks.

Take it easy: The joint in pseudogout has crystals that irritatte and deposit, altho different than the crystals in gout. Strengthening the muscles around and avoiding overuse may help prevent attacks.
