Thrush/Mono/CMV: If you took antibiotics this could be thrush caused by yeast overgrowth. Mononucleosis and cytomegalovirus infection can cause exudative pharyngitis. Other causes of pharyngitis include gonorrhea, diptheria, arcanobacterium and various viruses.
