4g/day: The maximum dosing for most conditions is 650 mg every 4 hours for a maximum dose of 4 grams/day. Importantly, this is for adults and should be taken with food.

Recommended: Do not exceed the dose recommended on the Aspirin bottle, since Aspirin irreversibly inhibits platelets, if you exceed the dose it can cause serious bleeding, asa also can cause stomach ulcers. If the headache is really bad you should get it checked as some headaches can be caused by life threatening conditions.
