It can be: Controlling svt is one of the approved uses for flecainide. However, you cardiologist is the best person to decide what is right to treat your svt. I'd go with their recommendation.

As good as any: As any medicine it may ( not nesseserily will) cause some side effects, that sometimes (rare enough) might be serious, but having svt is much more serious than a possibility of side effects from medication.
