What are side effects of taking meticorten 20mg?

Cortisone-type drug: Meticorten is Prednisone and form of cortisone. It is used for many inflamatory conditions. Taken orally or by injection at high doses over long periods, it can have many side effects including reduced immune response, water retention, kidney involvement and many other conditons. When used for long periods and it is to be stopped, the dose must be reduced gradually (tapering).
