Not Normal, but...: A "bloody taste" in one's mouth is never normal and may be due to any number of causes, most of which are entirely benign (not serious). Nasal congestion, gum problems, vitamins and supplements, some medications for high blood pressure and some anesthetics can temporarily leave this sort of taste in your mouth. An epidural blood patch almost certainly has no relationship.

Unrelated : Your blood patch is unrelated to the taste in your mouth. Most likely anxiety or oral pathology. Talk to you doctors or go for evaluation.
